Who is Noble Newman?
When it comes to education, Noble Newman looks to provide his students with the power to read well, write analytically, and speak knowledgeably about the world around them. For him, he embodies the words of Nelson Mandela and truly believes that, “education is the most powerful weapon which you can be used to change the world.” That being said, he has put a strong emphasis on reading within his classroom. He believes that reading can provide young minds with alternative worlds to explore, valuable life lessons, and an escape from the stresses of young life. This in turn allows each and everyone one of his scholars to grow and develop as future leaders and game changers within their communities.

Outside of his classroom, Noble continues to push that emphasis on reading in the every day operations of his life. For him, stories, as they are for so many people, are an essential part of his life. They activate our mental process, improve our everyday vocabulary, and most importantly provide us a glimpse into other cultures and exotic places. As an avid reader, Noble Newman makes sure to have a novel always by his side. Even when he is driving, he will have audio book set to play the minute he is on the road. Because of his love and passion for reading, Noble has now decided to try his hands at getting his own material published.

Education
Born in New Jersey and raised in Long Island, Noble Newman was always interested in education. For him, reading and writing were avenues into an unexplored world. Because of this, he decided to move upstate in New York to attend Colgate University where he earned degrees in education and philosophy. While there, he was able to meet his wife, and eventually moved to Illinois, where he earned a Master's Degree in Educational Organization and Leadership in order to cultivate his skills and talents within the education sector. After a short stint in Michigan, him and his family decided to move to the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Both moves were made to follow his wife’s education and career in veterinary oncology, and in both locations Noble worked as an elementary school educator, including teaching gifted and talented students
Importance of Reading
Some of the most wonderful things about great books, whether you’re reading them or writing them, are that they allow you to explore new worlds that you would not normally be able to experience in real life, and that they reflect the actual world, showing it in ways that provide insights one could miss or that could be cloudy in the deluge of information and experience of one’s day to day. If you can add some humor and fantasy to stories, they are likely to resonate even more deeply. Such stories can also serve the valuable purpose of encouraging kids to read.
With an appreciation for the above-mentioned humor, fantasy, and creatively constructed worlds, and a long-standing and innate interest in technology and technological advancement, it’s no surprise that Noble Newman is a huge fan of the fantasy and science fiction genres. Some of his favorite books include Ender’s Game, Eragon, and Peter and the Starcatchers, and the Harry Potter, Lightning Thief, and Ranger’s Apprentice series. In short, he appreciates what everyone does in good literature – books that fill the reader with a sense of wonder and joy.

While Noble Newman embraces innovation and new technology, sometimes the old fashioned way of doing things is best, which is why currently he is attempting to go through literary agents in order to get his material seen and published prior to exploring the digital text platform. He plans to begin his professional writing career with children’s books.

Personal Life
Currently, Noble is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. While still involved with education, he is dabbling in his passions of writing and entrepreneurship. Outside of work, Noble Newman is, first and foremost, a family man. As a loving husband and proud father of two beautiful children, he enjoys spending his weekends and time off with his family. There you can find him out and about with his beautiful wife or enjoying some quality time with his kids. When he is not with them, you can find him socializing with his friends, exploring new restaurants or book stores in the Greater-Pittsburgh area, or simply reading the newest novel at hand.
